​How to Fest: Your Guide to Making the Most of the SOHO International Film Festival

Welcome to the 2024 SOIHO International Film Festival! Whether you're a seasoned festival-goer or a first-timer, these tips and tricks will help you get the most out of your SIFFNYC experience.

• To make the most of your experience at SIFFNYC, start by exploring the festival lineup and reserving your spots for  screenings and events early.

• Take advantage of the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in New York City! You are in one of the most awesome city in the world -- take it in!

• Engage with the community by attending happy hours, mixers, and Q&A sessions, where you can connect with filmmakers and fellow attendees.

• Diversify your viewing by exploring a variety of films, from narratives to experimental shorts, and support independent filmmakers along the way.

• Remember to stay energized throughout the festival by taking breaks, staying hydrated, and capturing your experience through photos to share on social media.

• Stay informed by keeping an eye on festival updates through email, the Eventive platform, and SIFFNYC's social channels.

• Finally, don’t forget to share your feedback after the festival to help us improve future events. Above all, relax, have fun, and fully immerse yourself in the world of cinema at the SOHO International Film Festival! HAPPY FESTING!!!

TICKETING PLATFORM USE


Q:  WHAT TO DO ONCE I RECIEVE MY PASS?
A: You will be able to begin select the events and screenings that you want to attend.

Here are some instructions on how to reserve a ticket:

  • Log into your Eventive account. 
    • TIP: If you do not remember how to access this, just go tohttps://sohofilmfest.eventive.org/ and log in with the email you received your Filmmaker Badge and click Forgot Password so you can re-set your access.
  • Go to your "Schedule" page listed under Menu. (There is a small icon that looks like a calendar in the upper right-hand corner of the landing page that will take you there as well.)
  • Once on the "Schedule" page, you can browse and click "Get Tickets" widget for any screening.  
  • You can select quick order option or proceed to check out to purchase additional tickets/


Here are some instructions on how to cancel a ticket:

  • Log into your Eventive account. 
  • Go to your "My Tickets" page listed under Menu. (There is a small icon that looks like a ticket in the upper right-hand corner of the landing page that will take you there as well.)
  • Once on the "My Tickets" page, locate a small "gear" icon to the right of the "Show Barcode" button for the individual ticket you wish to transfer.  
  • Click the small gear. A dropdown menu will appear with the option to "Cancel Ticket".
