Whether you’re a festival pro or making your very first SIFFNYC debut, we’ve got you covered. Here are some insider tips to help you have the ultimate festival experience:

  • Plan your journey. Check out the lineup, snag your tickets early, and lock in those can’t-miss screenings and events.
  • Soak up NYC vibes. You’re in the greatest city in the world—explore, wander, and let the city’s energy fuel your festival adventure.
  • Mix. Mingle. Connect. Don’t just watch films—join the Q&As, mixers, and happy hours to meet filmmakers, artists, and fellow film lovers.
  • Go beyond your comfort zone. From bold narratives to mind-bending experimental shorts, discover the magic of independent cinema.
  • Pace yourself like a pro. Stay hydrated, grab a bite, and take a breather when you need it. And yes—share your festival moments on socials (tag us @sohofilmfest #SIFFNYC!).

TICKETING PLATFORM USE


Q:  WHAT TO DO ONCE I RECEIVE MY PASS?
A: You will be able to begin selecting the events and screenings that you want to attend.

Here are some instructions on how to reserve a ticket:

  • Log in to your Eventiveaccount. 
    • TIP: If you do not remember how to access this, just go to https://sohofilmfest.eventive.org/ and log in with the email you received your Filmmaker Badge and click Forgot Password so you can reset your access.
  • Go to your "Schedule" page listed under Menu. (There is a small icon that looks like a calendar in the upper right-hand corner of the landing page that will take you there as well.)
  • Once on the "Schedule" page, you can browse and click "Get Tickets" widget for any screening.  
  • You can select the quick order option or proceed to check out to purchase additional tickets/


Here are some instructions on how to cancel a ticket:

  • Log in to yourEventive account. 
  • Go to your "My Tickets" page listed under Menu. (There is a small icon that looks like a ticket in the upper right-hand corner of the landing page that will take you there as well.)
  • Once on the "My Tickets" page, locate a small "gear" icon to the right of the "Show Barcode" button for the individual ticket you wish to transfer.  
  • Click the small gear. A dropdown menu will appear with the option to "Cancel Ticket".
